PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 4-H HORSE SHOW THAT WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED IN WAHOO ON SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2008 HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO JUNE 22, 2008 AND RELOCATED TO 3V ARENA, NORTH OF ASHLAND. This is due to flooding of the Saunders County Fairgrounds. See the information below.

Platte Valley Wranglers 4-H Horse Show - Please not this is a change in date and location from the original date and location of June 1. The date was changed due to flooding of the Saunders County Fairgrounds. Location on June 22 will be the 3V Arena, north of Ashland, Nebraska. Starting time will be 9 a.m. Fees are $15/all day or $3/class. Judge will be Deb Adams. Attire will be 4-H regulation (except arm bands will not be required). Lively Livestock 4-H Club Sheep & Goat Show - Saturday, June 28, 2008 at York County Fairgrounds in York, Nebraska. Check-in from 9:30-10:30 a.m.; Showmanship at 11:00 (goat, then sheep). Open to all 4-H & FFA members. Only market goats can show in the goat classes. For more information, contact Mike Rystrom - 402-764-6761; or Ron Nickel - 402-732-6738. No advance entries are required. Entry fee is $7/head.

Holbrook Livestock Show - Saturday, July 12, 2008. Beef Weigh-in begins at 6:30 a.m. with the show to follow at 8:00 a.m. Lamb weigh-ins begin at 9 a.m. and the show will begin immediately following the beef show. there is a $5 entry fee per head; maximum of 6 animals. Box Butte County 4-H Progress Show for Market Beef, Sheep & Meat Goats - Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Box Butte County Fairgrounds in Hemingford, NE. Check-in/Weigh-in from 7:30-9 a.m. MT. Shows start at 9:30 a.m. MT. Entry fees are $5 for lambs & meat goats; $10 for market beef. Click on the following link for rules and a registration form:

59th Annual Norfolk Beef Expo - Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Northeast Community College Ag Complex, Norfolk, Nebraska. Sponsored by Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce and Agri Business Council. Any member of a Nebraska 4-H club or FFA chapter who is at least 8 years of age and not older than 19 years of age as of Jan. 2, 2008, is eligible to show. Registration fee is $20/calf and is due no later than August 22, 2008.
